Oct 04, 2019 Diablo II: Reworked has its own Tunngle-Channel! Play together at Networks - RPG - Diablo 2: LoD - Reworked on page 2. Needed Diablo Version: NOT THE OFFICIAL BATTLENET INSTALLER Blizzard released two patches 1.14a, 1.14b, which totally destroy all modlaunchers and mods for Diablo II out there. Still can not believe they did this to us. I have downloaded Diablo 2 and LoD from Blizzard and installed them both. Installed Sven’s program and copied the.dll file into the Diablo 2 folder. Changed the compatibility on D2 as above. Vid test on Sven’s program works fine, OpenQuery shows everything to be OK, only (2) unsupported extensions but says they aren’t necessary. So I went to my computer and successfully installed Diablo 2 Regular (Full Install) with the 3 CDs that came with the box (Install Disc, Play Disc and Cinematic's Disc). And after installing it I opened the game and got all of the updates to version 1.12 I think it was.

This hack requires you to be running Diablo 2: Lord of Destruction (not classic!) on patch 1.12a.
Connecting to Battle.net will update your client to 1.13 which is incompatible with D2MultiRes at this time.
Download a mod, D2MultiRes.
Extract it to your game directory, and launch using D2MultiResGame.exe. Once you start a game, there will be a new “resolution” option in the video options menu. Select it, and resolutions above 800×600 will be available.
Copy any.MPQ files from your Diablo II (and LoD, if applicable) discs to your Diablo II installation folder. Ignore any files that already exist. For most users, you will only need to copy D2Music.mpq from the Play disc (LoD owners should also copy D2xMusic.mpq from the LoD disc). The readme warns that you may get bad graphics glitches in Direct3D mode. I did, myself. Refer to additional screenshots. But when I switched to DirectDraw 2D mode, it worked just fine. You can set this by running D2VidTst.exe. Sadly, DirectDraw 2D disables parallax scrolling and other visual effects.
Lacking Direct3D mode is a pretty big one. But everything else seems fine.
Side-screens like inventory retain their original size, but take up half the screen with a tiled background (they originally took up half a 640×480 screen without needing any tiled background).
The HUD keeps its original size, with the life/mana spheres anchored to the corners, and the stamina and potions anchored to the bottom-center. And the map is pixel based.
FMVs run at 640×480, but are hard-letterboxed to a theatrical 2.20:1. This means windowboxing on wide monitors.
